Jose Mourinho was a coach at Barcelona during the period of 1996-1997 when he was an assistant coach to Sir Bobby Robson. He was in charge of training and assisting Robson in the team's tactical decisions. He had an important role in assisting the team in their successful season when they won the Copa del Rey, the Supercopa de Espana, and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. However, he had a fall out with the Barcelona management and left the club to join Bobby Robson at Porto. Mourinho's time at Barcelona was short-lived but he left a lasting impression with his tactical acumen and management skills.
